Albert & Tymen Koetsier
Hello, I am Albert Koetsier. You may know me from my X-ray photographs of flowers and seashells, but I am also a lifelong photography artist and collector. Here you will find a collection of precious photography history that I have collected over the years and that I am making available for sale with the help of my grandson, Tymen.I am doing this to help all my grandchildren with their college expenses. To see what is available, you can click on the Camera Shop button above.
About Me
I was born in the Netherlands and became fascinated with photography at the age of 8. I built my first homemade camera from an old matchbox. At 16, I acquired a real Dalmeyer, a top-view camera, which I later used to build a projector for developing my own photos. After graduating from the Netherlands' primary technical university in Hilversum, I began working for Phillips Medical Systems as an X-ray technician, which eventually led to the development of artistic X-ray photographs.I've been collecting cameras my whole life. I now own some of the very first cameras ever made, many technological and scientific cameras that revolutionized the field, and many modern cameras that I still use today. I also specialized in black and white film photography and have taken thousands of photos over the years. You can find out more about me and my work at the links below:
